Absinthe

Absinthe is a distilled spirit infused with herbs including the thujone-containing Aretmesia absinthium. Many describe its effects as significantly different than alcohol alone, but the nature of thujone's effects are much disputed. Absinthe

High alcohol volume. Very high. 85%. A mouthful is about 4 beers' worth. Has a strong liquorice taste and smell, but you don't taste it if you drink it straight.
