There are 2 gas stations and one grocery store, but has one of the best schooling systems in california. They are home to the Los Alamitos Griffins high school football team, one of the top 5 teams in the nation.

Get the Alamelu mug.I love alameda so much. its a small city and i feel a strong sense of community living in it. Everyone is so friendly. It is pretty racially diverse. It is very clean and has a lot of trees. I feel very safe in alameda. It has a great theatre and cute restaurants ( a little overpriced ) Everynight basically everyone has a view of a sunset and beautiful skyline of sf over the water. I love it so much and its a joy every night. The weather is AMAZING. its always slightly sunny with a soft breeze. never gets too hot or too cold. I also love how its right near Oakland and Sf. This way you can enjoy the fun of these two cities while living in a nice clean place.
