danger-rope-a-dope

A snake handling technique where you use a snake hook to repeatedly pull a snake in the direction opposite to where it is trying to flee while backing up until the snake is exhausted enough to pick it up by the tail.

I saw a guy try to use the danger-rope-a-dope on a black mamba, and he almost didn't die.

Noun: A word used by lame TV cops and people with no drug knowledge or druggie friends to refer to marijuana. It is occasionally used to refer to heroin.

Dope-an-drop is a term that childcare providers use to describe a situation wherein parents medicate their children to hide a fever or illness so they can fool the provider into thinking the child is not ill.

Today a parent admitted to dope-and-drop after I notified their child had a high fever several hours after arriving.
