A derivative of the old worn-out phrase "get outta here!"

Said by someone to communicate either :

* disbelief, or

* a desire to, swiftly, end the conversation or move onto to a new topic

This new version re-kindles the emphasis and weight that its predecessor had lost through overuse.

Often said with a pause to indicate that the speaker has 'upgraded' the statement mid-sentence.

A Brit first overheard it being said by a camp person in L.A and then propagated it to Essex, UK. Therefore, it MUST be said with a fake, camp, US accent every time.

Jim: Did you know that no one has submitted "Gullible" into the Urban Dictionary yet?

Bob: Oh that's really interesting...someone really should...
..oh... get...out...of...everyplace!

coming out of the basement

When a marijuana user reveals their habits to friends and family. Derived from the practice of smoking in the basement (can be seen on That 70's Show for example)

Guy: "I thought Kent was a super clean cut guy, who only drank?"
Girl: "Nah, dude. I heard that Kent's coming out of the basement. He bong rips on the daily!"
Guy: "Ohhh. So that's how he's always flying high."

Fall Out Boy

Fall Out Boy is an American pop-punk band formed in Chicago in 2001. The band consists of bassist Pete Wentz, drummer Andy Hurley, lead guitarist and vocalist Patrick Stump, and guitarist Joe Trohman. In their early years, the band released four albums: 'Take This To Your Grave', 'From Under The Cork Tree', 'Infinity On High' and 'Folie à Deux'. They went on a hiatus in 2010, and came back in 2012 . They then released their two most recent albums, 'Save Rock and Roll' and 'American Beauty/American Psycho'.

Singer and guitarist Patrick Stump produced a solo album during the hiatus, called 'Soul Punk', which he wrote and produced entirely by himself. He also played all the instruments.

A few months after the release of 'American Beauty/American Psycho', Fall Out Boy announced they would remix the entire album. This album, called 'Make America Psycho Again', was released very recently. The band worked with a lot of rappers on this remix album, e.g. Azealia Banks, Whiz Kalifa and Juicy J. They have coöperated with rappers before (Big Sean has a part in 'The Mighty Fall', a song on the 'Save Rock and Roll' album).

Fall Out Boy has announced that they are going to remix their latest album, 'American Beauty/American Psycho'.

Out went cold

Used metaphorically to refer to the absence of someone who is called out, particularly when that person is in a queue. It is commonly used in a clinic setting where in a patient leaves before his or her turn is up.

"Patient X was not outside when I called his name."
"He's out went cold."
