Clusterfuckastrophe

It's a kerfuffle of epoch proportions, resulting from multiple poor decisions that can each only be described as unfortunate boondoggles that grew out of indifference by leadership and their inability to recognize and acknowledge their insane decisions, or lack thereof.

Clearly shaken by the events of the day, it was now apparent that the full impact of the clusterfuckastrophe was not yet known, but soon would be.

A particular type of general clusterfuck specifically and wholly related to the subject matter of computer systems or operations gone wrong. Such things as a botched server migration or bare metal restore from tape backup which has failed to restore a domain controller qualify. May also be used in relation to specifically Linux or Unix matters gone awry.
