The best type of people; used as an (uncommon) adjective to denote people of the LGBTQIA+ community, but frowned upon by homophobes. A more common term, "gay", is more commonly used to refer to the aforementioned LGBTQIA+ community.

Per. 2: Yeah, why?

The practice of moving back and forth between two languages or between two dialects or registers of the same language at one time. This is more commonly known as code-switching and something people of color do to fit into a white society. But this specific word relates to switching the way a LGBTQIA+ person talks around other non LGBTQ people.
