flagellant 

Someone who flagellates her or himself. In particular, a religious ascetic/masochist who attempts to attain a sublime state or to purge disease or sin through whipping or beating her or himself with ropes, chains and/or flails.

In the Warhammer fantasy battle game, flagellants are a type of special unit available to human armies who wield chains/flails, wear no armour and are immune to psychological effects such as fear.

It is an exclamation used to describe an act that is astounding beyond words. So you say- WHAT THE FLAGNOG?!?!? (It has also been used as a varition of WTH or WTF.)

This word is destined to sweep the universe. If you don't like it, we don't care, so FLAGNOG it!!
If a hick named Anna whips out her hicky bracelet making supplies, Suzy exclaims "What the flagnog?!?" in her disbelief at Anna's hickiness.

If you are sleeping in history class and all of a sudden you feel your eye getting slapped, you sit up and yell "WHAT THE FLAGNOG?!?"

When a manager forcefully or dramatically closes the door when a subordinate enters his or her office, an action used to notify nearby employees or passers-by that the subordinate is in trouble and is about to be disciplined.
