Cultural Novocaine

When all around you is death and destruction. A regularly scheduled school shooting. And when the news nightly tells you their was 6murders, 4rapes, a kidnapping, 4 domestic violence cases, and a bombing in some far off city, it's hard to care about any of it anymore.

You become totally numb to all of the death, destruction, and any sympathy or pain it would have once created in you. It is like when going to a dentist for work, they numb your mouth. Well society had numbed your brain, your soul with Cultural Novocaine
Hey Steve, did you hear about the 4murders, kidnapping, and bombing of Gaza?

No man I dont care about, or even worry about that stuff, it just doesn't matter to someone numbed by Cultural Novocaine.
