A pointless win when a sports team is already eliminated from playoff contention. The win sabotages the teams’ draft position the following year. The term is typical used during the course of a Detroit Lions season.
Ryan: I really hope the lions win the last game of the year so that they don’t go winless this year.
Person 1: You realize the Lions won’t get the first overall pick if they win this game right? It would be a Bird Win.
Ryan: Yeah I know. You always want to win even if you’re already eliminated from the playoffs.
Person 1: 🤦 ♂️ #BirdWin

A sentence used to ego someone in Rainbow Six Siege. Referring to the old tournaments called “Go4.” Saying that they haven’t won one so they are trash randoms.

The phrase "Nah, I'd win" refers to a frame in the manga series Jujutsu Kaisen (JJK) in Chapter 221 where the character Satoru Gojo says the phrase. The frame was re-translated by various manga sites like VIZ, changing it from "No" to "Nah, I'd win" to match a callback to Chapter 3. The phrase became an exploitable in late 2023, as meme creators recaptioned the speech bubble and replaced Gojo with different characters from JJK and elsewhere, referencing other anime, cartoons, and subcultures. The Nah I'd Win meme trended en masse on TikTok and Reddit, peaking in November 2023. Chapter 221 of Jujutsu Kaisen was released on April 23rd, 2023, on VIZ and other websites.
Friend: "Yo dude that guy looks pretty strong are you sure you could beat him in a fight?"
You: "Nah, I'd Win."
You: "Nah, I'd Win."
