An anime from 1989 thats really underrated. Its about this salesman that goes around helping people with their issues but gives them one promise that they have to keep (which they never do). So, when the promise is broken the salesman makes everything backfire and practically ruins their life.

From there, he infects a ton of children with laughing gas to turn them into an army of dark Robins and pretty much end the world, leading him to be taken off of his dying world by a higher power.
