Get the Ok Boomermug. The protective plastic film found on appliances and other products when they are new. Older people leave it on the item to "preserve" the product. Serves no real purpose and ends up making the dials on microwaves, stovetops, etc. difficult to read over time.
"John, why does your granny leave the plastic film on the stove screen?"
