They should have done what they did.... UP UNTIL they abandoned all of the practices that supposedly made them "The most moral military on the planet." It's at THAT POINT that their response became inappropriate. It's ridiculous that we're just expected to allow them to violate the international rules of war (which they ADMIT TO DOING because "Hamas is using the rules of war against us!"), we need to overlook all of the "oopies" (OoOoO Gehfoigal! We bombed the aid truck! Oops!), and we pretend that (if they succeed in eliminating Hamas) they aren't going install their own puppet regime to deny Palestinians their self-determination, indefinitely. Which they are. That is clearly the plan. They're going to take that natural gas too.

When a person suddenly & without warning switches from the recovery phase of their psychosis (when there are few of any symptoms present) to the active phase (hallucinations, delusions, paranoia & erratic/odd behavior). Often doing a duffy or done a duffy is referring to someone finding out about their friend or associate's mental disorder for the first time after witnessing the sudden appearance of full blown psychosis.
Can you pick me up downtown? Amanda's done a duffy & stolen my car so she can save Burt Reynolds from little aliens or something!
Hey man, don't worry about Shane. He's done a Duffy before. He doesn't get violent or anything.

Definition: (phrase)
A brutal way of saying someone hasn’t just made a mistake; they’ve taken a situation, set it on fire, thrown it off a cliff, and then acted surprised when it exploded. Used when the failure is so obvious, reckless, or dumb that no fixing it is even worth trying.
Not casual. This is reserved for moments when someone’s failure is so massive and self-inflicted that it almost becomes art. It's got that slow-burn of disappointment baked into it. First you sigh, then you say it. Related to "you done fucked up," but "gone and done" adds that extra salt; like you watched them build their own disaster in slow motion.

Example:
"Gave Chad the aux cord and now we're listening to 12 minutes of dolphin noises. You've gone and done fucked it up."
"She hit 'reply all' with that email dragging the boss. You've gone and done fucked it."
