Hyena Crips (83GC)

A small African-American Crip-affiliated street crew based in Detroit, Michigan, mainly active in the Five Points (48219) area — especially around the 24200–24700 blocks of West Seven Mile Rd, Grand River & Telegraph (MetroPCS), and 7 Mile & Telegraph, known locally as hot tag zones.

They’re known for tag wars, hood graffiti, and territorial beefs with rival crews like R60s, Black P. Stones, and Vice Lords.

Also referred to as ScoreGang (SCRG), Two-Syxx Gang (26G), or W7M ETGC, they’re considered part of a local Crip alliance called 5Point Nation (5PN).

Their mark is the tag “83GC”, short for “Hyena Crips Got Control,” seen all across Detroit’s west side.

More of a street crew than a traditional gang — they haven’t been formally identified by law enforcement as an organized gang with hierarchy or major arrests — but their influence runs deep in Five Points. Originated around 2016, reportedly as a graffiti crew called “B.S.S.”, before evolving into what they are today.

A small, Detroit-based street crew known for tagging, local rivalries, and claiming territory in the Five Points area. Not a fully verified gang, but an active street-level crew with cliques like ScoreGang (SCRG) and the Hyena Crips (83GC).

Another name for Detroit’s Hyena Crips (83GC), also known as ScoreGang (SCRG). A Westside Crip-affiliated street crew known for tagging, street disputes, street-level crime, and their influence around Five Points. “5Pointer” comes from the Five Points neighborhood linked to their overall street identity. Members refer to themselves as “5Pointers” or simply “Hyenas.”

Reddit Crips

Internet “gang experts” or wannabe Crips who learn everything about gang culture from Reddit threads, YouTube documentaries, and old VLAD interviews. They talk like they’re from South Central but can’t tell Crenshaw from Craigslist. Always quoting sets they’ve never met and correcting real members with “according to Google…” energy. Perfect example: “WSDMGC73,” a fake Crip set and the #1 fan club of the Hyena Crips.

A fake or online “gang” pretending to be Crips with no real hood ties, turf, or recognition. They copy slang, tags, and culture from music videos and documentaries—it’s all clout, no credentials.
