For the streets

A person, organisation or business compromising their principles for popularity or personal gain. Another way of calling someone a "whore" or a sellout. Generally also associated with something of little value, constant fast shifting alliances, unreliability and a lack of consideration for other people, often accompanied by unessasary drama.

Ironically the term is best known for its use by guys lacking integrity to insult women who've rejected them.

Pestering customers to write online reviews for your business isn't a marketing strategy, it's for the streets.

Street Racer

Young Person (17-30+) that's takes street racing very passionately. usually grew up playing with toy cars and had their first job with the sole purpose of buying a fast car.
they spend a great deal of time and money working on their cars, investing in all sorts of preformance mods and body work for their cars. they adore movies such as the fast and the furious series and take great pride in their lifestyle and cars.

they live for the night, where most of the illegal streetracing takes place. they are wide awake at midnight and can go on racing till sunrise. they can be from a great diversity of ethnicities and lifestyles. but they mostly are night people who love extreme thrills and party.

they dress in a very young style. wearing shirts with racing brands such as sparco,momo,streetglow etc.

"hey, look that guy is a Street Racer , he drives a tuned up toyota supra, wears sparco shirts and is always out at night"

Occupy Wall Street

The Occupy Wall Street movement's premise is that only the people can take back control of the democracy and reinstitute social justice and equality. The movement is in response to the mean spirited and greedy plutocrats who not only control the outcome of the elections but the votes in Congress, Court decissions, and the actions of the President. Occupy Wall Street Movement is based in part on the Arab Spring in which the people took to the streets and seized control of the countries that were ruled by dictators. While it started on Wall Street it has spread rapidly to Main Streets throughout the USA.

The Occupy Wall Street movement wants to make sure Wall Street shakers and fakers are held accountable for the illegal activities that contributed to the Great Recession. They want to change the incentive systems in capitalism to favor society as a whole, instead of the greed and contempt of a few.

It is amazing in the day of high speed communications that it takes three weeks for the Occupy Wall Street movement to get from the social media and street to the corporate media. Even more amazing is how the movements clear message of social and equal justice can be distorted by the corporate media.
