1. When one sees a minor change in a piece of media that they enjoy and they rant and act like a bitch about it rather than growing the fuck up.

2. When you present a different preference in media and they scream at you because you don't like their preferred version.

I said I liked Ruby's Atlas design and she screamed at me for like an hour! She must've been hit with The Wolfy Effect!

Flashlight Effect

When a male/female takes a face selfie, and turns on flash which makes the persons face appear better. Blemishes, scars, etc. become transparent

Cassidy: hey dude i met this awesome chick last night on instagram bro
Jack: Stellar! Are you gonna date her?
Cassidy: well, yea-
Malcomn: wait! let me see a picture of her
Cassidy: well you can't really see her face, the picture has a lot of flash

The Gehe Effect

The Gehe Effect (TGE) is wanting desperately to know absolutly everything about someone you've never met or never talked to, this causes a puppy love-like longing that can turn into aggressive stalking and/or adorably crushing on the one causing the effect. These things can lead to an odd senpai idealism or actual feelings for the effector. Sometimes the effected never actually have any kind of contact what so ever with their effector but prefer to wallow in their unrequited love from afar until the effect passes or the effected looses interest.

Jillian: OMG! Spencer is so crushing on Jill, but he's never talked to her before x3.
Olivia: Lol, Jill is having The Gehe Effect on him.
Jillian: Totes! He wanted me to tell him all about how she likes to be treated, he really wants to make her feel loved! It's so cute!

skes is a discord server with 2.1k members yet when they do @everyone or @here, only 6-17 people come, this is known as the skes effect and is being spread on to other servers as we speak, to prevent this effect there are 3 simple steps, 1) be any other server other than skes 2) have a server named something other than skes 3) don't be skes

Being the underdog at a challenge or activity to the point where the other people in the challenge or activity want you to win and/or giving you a large advantage and/or letting you win.
This is NOT pity

Turg: "This is my 12th time being 5th in mario cart! I'm getting better!"
Everyone else "Okay guys this round we'll give turg a 30 secound headstart, and not hit him with any shells, Understand?"
Turg: "Wow! The Turg effect is so cool!"
