Members of one of America's two largest political parties which, like it or not, are equals in opression as well as service. It has recently become trendy to hate them, because Green Day tells us to. It is better to be a republican than a tool whose information is force-fed to him through the hose of MTV's *infinite* wisdom.
Tool #1: Dude, Bush is a douche
Tool #2: Yeah. I don't wanna be an American Idiot. Let's go smoke some weed.
Non-Tool: Hey, or you could smoke a shotgun, instead.

An old ass book that has like influenced every political matter since forever. Since Justice is the main topic discussed throughout the whole damn book, it's esoteric nature confuses dumb asses that read it wrong. Plato has Socrates talk about Communism vs Democracy, the Equality of Men and Women, the nature of political regimes and cool other shit. And the most famous is the Allegory of the Cave, where Socrates talks about the philosophic "turn" and leaving the "cave of convention".
But the main problem is like aforementioned dumb asses; mainly Marx, thought it was a good idea. So in turn, fucked up a world for like 60 years. Even China is still fucked up.

Get the Plato's Republic mug.many people who do not understand how to fix the issues just blast republicans, because it is easier to make fun of them then to fix something (this is the same when a democrat is in office too). The democratic party and republican party have become so old and irrelevent and bad at solving issues that they both need to be stopped. However, no parties are capable of doing more then their own little stupid agendas for example, the legalize marijuana movement is only trying to fix one issue, they have no stances on other issues. these parties are called third parties.
Republicans follow the following stances. (not always, but usually most)
- Second admendment strengthening
- Delegalizing abortion
- Lower taxes
The democratic party is on the other more extreme end of the specturm. Republicans range on the conservative side (which nazis are too the more extreme end of the same side). While democrats range on the liberal side (which communists are too the more extreme end of same side)

Get the reppen mug.Noun. A member of the U.S. Republican Party who eschews conservative social issues in favour of those political policies meant to perpetuate the priviledged position of himself and his wealthy fellow travelers. Sometimes also referred to as a "Country Club Conservative", "Republicrats" or "Rockefeller Republican", the latter term derived from former U.S. Vice President and Governor of New York, Nelson Rockefeller. Checked Pant Republicans consistently pander to the plutocracy of the United States through the promotion of issues such as reduced progressivity of taxation, reduced restrictions on commerce through the elimination or reduction of regulation, the promotion of free trade through the unilaterial elimination of "protective" measures such as tarrifs, quotas, etc. (in short the promotion of a "School of Manchester/Chicago" approach to economics). In turn, they tend to ignore/downplay the social issues important to Cultural/Movement (aka "Real") Conservatives, such as the fight against abortion, the promotion of traditional, Western based, Judeo Christian cultural norms, unapologetic patriotism, the defence of the traditional nuclear family, the fight against the rise of cultural degeneracy, opposition to bilingual education, opposition to public acceptance/promotion of open homosexuality, school vouchers and prayers in school.
Republican Voter #1: "Hey, I'm, thinking of voting for Mitt Romney rather than New Gingrich. I just feel that Mitt better captures my feelings on Wall Street Fatcats getting richer through bailouts, Chinese imports gutting our manufacturing base through our unilateral elimination of tarrifs and quotas and our slide into a degenerate society that is being undermined by liberal values on basically everything."
Republican Voter #2: "Better think twice, son. Both Mitt and Newt are nothing but Checked Pant Republicans, conveniently masquerading in the primaries as Real Conservatives in order to win your vote.
