tube snob
A guitarist who only likes tube amps, and hates amps that use other technology.
The amps tube snobs hate are solidstate and modellers.
Being a tube snob generally is wrong, as there are good SS and modelling amps such as the Line 6 Vetta or Flextone. Most of them are un-informed about good SS/Modelling amps, and base their opinon on terrible SS/Modelling amps.
Very annoying to argue with, as they always think they're right.

Tube Surfing
When you ride the tube (The Underground) by standing in the aisle and and balancing without holding on for the purpose of fun and laughs and enhancing your skills.
Ai! It was a brilliant ride (Tube surfing) today! I picked up at Hammersmith and for an extra challenge rode eyes closed listening to The Futureheads on my iPod.
