Someone who can't, or chooses not to, keep up with the walking pace of the rest of the group, and trails behind. Followed by the phrase "who's the lagger?" to taunt said lagger.

Natalie was mincing around behind the rest of the group daydreaming and keeping everyone in front waiting for her. "Who's the lagger?" they shouted. She was.

I Lagged

A common excuse for when someone has an epic fail moment in a video game. It's frequently ridiculed as being too generic, to the point that people overlook that sometimes it's legit. Some people have crappy internet.

"Why did you do so bad? You're usually pretty good."

"Ah, I see. I know you don't go easy on anyone, so I knew something was wrong."
