Fritzlean Harem

A concept that is gradually becoming more popular among the more involved online incest community.

When a man kidnaps a premenopausal and sexually mature female sex worker and puts her into a cellar, dungeon, or other room of confinement and forcibly impregnates her (whether it be forced intercourse or IVF) to give birth.

When the child(ren) is/are born, it/they is or are separated and isolated from the mother until the offspring reach sexual maturity depending on the sex, whether induced naturally or artificially.

If the offspring is male, it is to breed with the mother. If it is female, it is to be impregnated by the master to bear inbred or "gifted" children.

Once those children are born, the latter cycle is to continue until the master chooses or is forced to stop it.

Named after the Austrian man Josef Fritzl who raped his daughter and inbred grandchildren while keeping them in his cellar.

Unwanted Harem

Not to be confused with Harem Genre, a genre of Japanese media that sometimes heavily relies on this trope. A common reaction from the man when a Harem plot begins and women start fighting for his attention. He might either think like a Celibate Hero, that the gratuitous quantity of boobs he is forced to see every day are just a bother, (comically missing the point that he is in an enviable situation) or see them as an obstacle between him and the girl he truly likes, or he may just find them annoying for one reason or another. A more likely reason, plot-wise, is the fact that the male lead cannot reciprocate all the girls' feelings without seeming to the audience to be cruel, manipulative, and misleading to the girls. So the far easier solution is to make him oblivious to their affection.

Supporting Harem

A subtrope of the Harem genre. Usually a romantic comedy with one male protagonist, one female Love Interest, and a bunch of female side characters who also happen to be in love with the male protagonist (or at the least like him very much).
