Tool Gloat

In woodworker's terminology: to Gloat is to be overly excited about a bargain used tool purchase, or wanting to brag and show off a recently acquired product. To put "Gloat" in your thread title, this is a modest means of warning warning others that they may get jealous over your new tool.

"This is my first tool Gloat" (The poster then shows a picture of a several hundred dollar machine they bought on Craigslist for 80% off the closest resale price)

Glont I Bagette

Baguette with delicious meat in the middle and cheese on the top. You can only get a "glont i bagette" at the SPAR store in Bergen at Nøstet.

The piece a food that gets stuck between your teeth, particularly showing up during job interviews, dates, or family portraits.

Whatever gloats your goat

A satirical take on the phrase whatever floats your boat, meaning "if that's what you want to do, you go do that and I'll leave you to it."

Used to amaze and confuse the receiving person of the phrase with your mastery of theriomorphic slang.

Guy 1: "I'm going to go buy lots of red candles because they're not blue candles. We don't want those. Oh no."

Guy 2: "Whatever gloats your goat."

Guy 1: "Yes... my goat..."
