It is to be pronounced unenthusiastically, and pathetically. The “eau” is not pronounced like it is in “beautiful”; It is supposed to be said as if you where trying to say all letters “e”,”a”, and “u” at the same time. The “r” does not hold much significance in the word, and is relatively quiet. The “gh” is supposed to be guttural, much like “ch” in Germanic, French and Slavic languages, however some pronounce it silent. If you don’t sound 10 IQ points lower while saying it, your doing it wrong.
