An intervention required to save someone from the debilitating effects of their mobile device addiction.

Tom: "John has been texting Julia so much lately that his wireless bill was $600 last month, and the doctor says he's developing Carpel Tunnel Syndrome... and he's starting to look cross-eyed."

Matt: "Holy smokes, yo. I think he needs a textervention."

Tom: "Yah. We'll probably have to do it via group text though."

Textleaving

When someone leaves in the midst of a peaceful text conversation. No arguing is going on, the person just stops texting back, usually leaving the other party pissed off. Often linked with conversation walling.

Person 1: So how was your day today?
Person 2: Great!
Person 1: Did you get to visit your aunt?
*no reply*
Person 1: Textleaving, fuckhead?

Regarding the idea that people type a certain way to fit a certain aesthetic, texthetic is your consistent style of text or the way you format a text to make it look nice. 2 examples of different texthetics:

or

Carpal Texter Syndrom

The pain that occurs in your wrists after too much texting or emailing on your phone.

Basically carpal tunnel syndrome that is caused by excessive phone typing.

My wrists are aching. I gotta stop writing long emails on my Blackberry. It's giving me carpal texter syndrome.

dexter the texter

The person that is useless to have a one on one real conversation with. Is so busy texting with either hand or both, or talking on a cell, and having a half-assed conversation, so you what ever and leave and they don't even notice or care even less.

My gf was being dexter the texter, so I just left.

Blunt Texter

A blunt texter is someone who simply cannot carry a conversation via text message. The conversations they have are usually short and boring, thus the other person gives up trying to keep the conversation going.

Ex: Heeey! :)

Nothing.
