Trend Gen is another name for the Millennial Generation, pointing to their malleability as a consumerist demographic obsessed with trends as status markers and elevators, which has become not only an EZ target for all supply-side industries but, thanks to the Internet and social media in particular, a free advertising machine as well.
Klub Vino (a ficticious entity) is an online wine store that targets the Trend Gen by making all its choices for them, by requiring only that a consumer "likes" the flavor components of any certain wine without requiring any knowledge of the wine - or wine in general - itself.

A trend that is inherently nerdy. A nerd-trend occurs when a lead nerd decides on a new nerd activity to partake in such as online chess or scrabble. Once the activity is celebrated by the lead nerd and fellow lead nerds, sheep nerds with invariably begin to participate, leading to a nerd-rush of activity, and an eventual nerd-movement toward the next activity the lead nerd decides upon.
nerd-trends have become even more mainstream as a result of the internet and online games. Facebook applications are also at fault for many nerd-trends that have resulted in the last 5 or so years.

Marianna: Jonathan, I found this great Facebook app for online scrabble!
Jonathan: Oh goody, let's have a scrabble marathon. Best out of 7 wins!
Marianna: actually, lets look up chuck Norris jokes!
Jonathan: No way Marianna, chuck Norris jokes are an old nerd-trend.

At social occasions or youth groups for school; when everybody gets dressed up, the girls put on tight jeans and a stretchy, revealing tank top while the boys put on baggy pants and a t-shirt. They all put on cologne or perfume. After arriving they sit down with there friends or if they're trying to "fit in" the popular peeps. The people pull out their Cell Phones and start to press random buttons, acting like they know what they're doing and/or text to people. All of this just to be popular, and saying without speaking it... "HEY! EVERYONE LOOK AT ME!!! I HAVE A NEW RAZOR! LOOK HOW SPOILED AND RICH I AM! MY MOMMY AND DADDY BUY EVERYTHING FOR ME!" In most cases, these people have a low self-esteem, resulting in them going home crying everyday. This also may cause them to have shaggy long black hair and claim to be emo. ALOT of them also bring Ipods.
Evan: "People these days... They just want to be cool."
Sarah: "Yeah, like at youth group last week; all of them had the cell trend going there. They ALL pulled out their cell phones and started texting."
Evan: "Did you see Ian? He was just pressing random buttons on his phone. I would assume that he just got it. dumb Ian... ::snickers::"

When you are the first to do or have something that everyone else does or has, but not because it is cool. Used in a sarcastic manner.
Ex 1:
Joe: I'm sick.
Josh: I was sick first. Trend setter!
Ex 2:
Joe: I failed that test and now I'm gonna fail out of the class!
Josh: I failed out of that class last semester. Trend setter!

A current fashion movement that is characterized by blatant opposition to current fashion trends through the piecing together of mostly kitschy pop-cultural memes of the 90s. Such as brightly dyed hair, Alien and smiley faces, cartoon characters, tacky sporting gear and cheesy patterns. The anti-trend followers purposely devise their outfits to make themselves appear to have "poor taste" in the eyes of an average person.
She looked so anti-trend at the party last weekend with her green hair, cropped smiley face tank top and lava lamp capris.

The bi trend is what many women in the entertainment industry are doing this days: They sing songs with foul language that describes what they want to do to another woman and sometimes show it while wearing something sexy to increase their own reputation and to make themselves seem more "sexy" and "interesting" while making it look like lesbians/bi women are just another trend, not a real sexuality, kinda like men imagine when they think about w-w relationships (kinda like in porn) while there are actually real queer women who have been struggling all their lives with their sexuality and homophobia.
This trend and what women like Demi Lovato do is harmful for the lesbian/bi community, it makes people think that lesbianism is just like they see in porn and nothing more, It makes people to think that it's just another playfull and fun trend and not a legitimate sexual orientation.
They make what men want to imagine two women do to each other as reality and disguise it with claimings that they really are belong to the gay community so people will be empathetic, or they just say they're just really "supportive".

Demi Lovato, Halsey, Bella Thorne are an example of a famous women who are riding the bi wave and participating the bi trend. Some time ago Demi Lovato did a live dry hump session with another girl singer in front of a crowd of thousands of people and then them both posted it on social media, an act no (real) bi/lesbian woman will ever do. Must mention the fact Lovato did such acts for the entire tour for the viewers attention.
