scoobies

The term scoobies comes from "Scooby Snacks" and refers to charred bits of herb and ash you may suck in while hitting a bowl. While unpleasant, they are no where near as bad as a flaming scooby which is a still smoldering piece of bud that will scorch the back of your throat.

"Dude, that bowl is almost kicked. If you hit it too hard you'll get some mad scoobies . . ."

"*coughing* Boo! Scoobies suck!"

The Israeli variant of the popular animated television series, Scooby Doo, although it was banned in 1998, Scooby Jew's main characters (raggy and scooby jew) carried on their roles in the less popular spin off "What's new scooby jew"

shoobee

Usually derogatory. A tourist at the (New Jersey) shore. He can often be identified by his pasty palor and inapprpriate clothing, e.g. black knee-socks with bobos (inexpensive footware), plaid shorts, and a shirt emblazoned with "I'm With Stupid." Etymology: said to derive from the "shoebox" in which shoobees once packed their lunches. Alternative etymology: from the refrain of popular Philadelphia music of 1950's and 1960's (example: "shoobee doo-wop"). Often shortened to shoob.

"Why do these f***ing shoobees have to brake at every f***ing intersection??"

"Hey, check out the shoob!"
