Term describing the gradual loss of participants in any given course. If a course continues for a long enough time it will loose all of its participants. It is used to explain why there are less course participants from one day to another when there is no apparent reason for it.
The word has also been used to describe the tendency for some courses to become less organized(chaotic) as time passes.

When you smoke a cigarette, then smoke weed in some way, then smoke another cigarette. Some people who smoke weed and cigarettes refer to a cigarette as desert when smoked directly after the weed.
