Merlin is known as a famous mythological figure, who is protects and serves his lover Arthur Pendragon. In the bbc show, Merlin has trouble understanding his destiny (returning magic into camelot), so he gets guidance from his pet dragon Kilgharrah (who betrays him and kills half the people in camelot), but anyways for him to achieve his destiny he needs to protect his lover soo he can use him and bring magic back to camelot.

He's the greatest wizard of all time. He is also known as Emrys. Everybody just loves him as he's the sweetest, funniest and cutest person to ever roam the Earth. You would have to be an idiot to let him go.

Merlin

A short sweetie who is very observant and will care about thier loved ones no matter what. A lot smarter than they think even though they aren't very good at spelling. Often curious and spontaneous but very helpful even though they don't see it. Deserves a lot more than they are given mainly for because of thier attitude. Definitely the cutest person I've ever met <33. Deserves someone to keep them grounded but also to be with forever. Makes you smile everyday and the more caring person you will ever meet. Always makes your day even a bit better if you didn't do anything wrong. If you have a Merlin in your life, keep them close because you'll never know what you have until maybe it is too late. If you know a Merlin, give them a hug cause they've been through a lot.

Battle Merlin

UuUuUuUuUuUuUuGh!!! Stop making Merlin a battlemage! He's the quintessential, archetypal Wizard! It's THE SAME EXACT THING as the Mary Sue trope from every woke movie! It's the exact same thing! Merlin is a strong, independent, self-actualized wahmen now. He's Rey from Star wars. I mean, shit, you might as well make him black. Or ACTUALLY A WOMEN. Which wouldn't even be original at this point because 7 Deadly Sins already had female Merlin. But THEY did it RIGHT. The entire show revolved around people having some type on magic but Chick Merlin was STILL the MOST WIZARD-LIKE CHARACTER IN THE SHOW. So, it doesn't matter that she's a gender swap because at least she still embodies the high INT wizard/scholar archetype. She's impossibly old. She isn't out there swordfighting people. She's a wizard. Be a wizard!
