An abomination of a McDonald's sandwich. Typically starts with a basic cheeseburger (to keep it a manageable size to stuff in your mouth), to which the patron requests the following items be added onto the burger: Filet o' fish patty, Junior chicken patty (McChicken patty in the US), leaf lettuce, and tartar sauce. This umami creation is designed to satisfy a heftier appetite without the added bread and shame that comes with ordering 3 individual burgers. An added bonus is the higher chance of a minimum wage McDonald's employee inevitably messing up the order, subsequently resulting in more free McThreeWay's.
My local McDonald's knows me so well that I can pull up, order a McThreeWay, and they know exactly what to do.
