A girl that has a big heart. Despite the pain she’s been through, she still has so much love to give. She has lots of emotions. Though she doesn’t show it. She thinks of herself as a “wall”. Which, in her eyes, means she can’t show her emotions even though they are killing her. Therefore she always thinks about others and puts herself last, that’s even if she thinks about herself. She falls in love hard and rarely ever moves on. She’s a tomboy. She acts tough because she is, physically yes. Mentally no. She likes most boys. But when she finds someone who truly loves her she doesn’t believe it, she thinks of herself as really low. She gets made fun of because of her name but she doesn’t care. She doesn’t value certain people’s thoughts and opinions about her. Although when it’s her family’s negative thoughts and opinions about her, that’s the bigger impact. Physical stuff as in someone hits her, it doesn’t affect her although, words are what gets her down. Of course not by everyone. She’s an overall chill and calm person. But when she’s serious about something, she’s dead serious. She doesn’t use the word “love” a lot because it has so much meaning.

A Maurie is a person who will stand in a thoroughfare like a doorway or a hall, blocking people trying to get through who are busy attempting a task. They are oblivious to those people and their efforts. "The Maurie" also does not offer to help.

Such is the outcome that Maury is looking for, being a advocate for the nuclear family.
