ten minute reply

Normally used online in Instant Messengers, when one person says something normally not of interest, the other party ignores, gets bored, then replies ten minutes later.

20:00 Person1: I had to go to my grandma's house today and all she did was talk about her feet.
20:10 Person2: That sucks. Sorry about the ten minute reply.

NRDM - Never Reply Direct Messages

NRDM is an abbreviation and or acronym used by cryptocurrency fanatics, fans, and DeFi users who have frequently made uncanny and clever observations, that sometimes the sacrificial lamb is one's own kind, when it comes to phishing links and scammers that target their foe through Direct Messages sent via Telegram or Discord Channels, or generally baiting their foe online.

The sacrifices of these sacrificial lambs, has resulted in the social phenomena The Distribution of Clever Abbreviations (DCAs or DoCAs) to help remember that, one should always be weary of suspicious Direct Messages that are sent to us online, especially when they are shrouded in the veil of unparalleled kindness or desires to be helpful, followed by a very odd link that should have otherwise screamed "NOOOO - Don't Click Me!! ( DCM ) --- if it were not for the HTML Link & the oddly familiar sense of safety given the impression of the link & underlining, bringing you quickly to the end of the road for your money, as it connects to a scammer or fraudsters server & database, and quickly sends them all your personal information & access codes, in the blink of an eye *Poof* all gone.

One must find ways to aMUSE one's self with these things, lest we never forget, all the sacrificial lambs of our time. Amen.

Noun. The action of ignoring one's question when the answer to it is No, usually in context of rejection. Most commonly seen in messaging and texting, instead of telling the person no, the choice to not respond is made. Sometimes it is easier (although disrespectful) to not respond than to deal with the emotional conflict of telling somebody No.

Boy: Hey Girl, wanna go out with me tonight?
Girl: (No response)
Boy: I think she's giving me the no-reply no.

premature reply-ulation

when you accidentally hit send before completing writing your email. usually in the middle of a word or thought so that the recipient has no idea what the heck you are talking about.

When replying to the email thread Tim accidentally hit reply after he had typed "I just l", when what he really meant to say was "I just left". Thanks to his premature reply-ulation Kristen had no clue what his email really meant.

When one is simply too lazy, or feels that they're too cool to write back to ones text message, facebook wall post, or message. Everyone has a few of these people in their lives, and it is time that a stand it taken against this.

snapchat reply

A very general reply when you are texting someone on Snapchat. Because the text disappears every time you leave the chat unless you save it, you probably won't remember what you said once the person responds. In turn, to avoid awkwardness, you either reply very dryly or ask what the hell you said in the first place.

"Charles sent you a message!"
*opens it*
*Charles replies with "that's fucked up man" three hours ago*
(Damn, what the fuck did I say before that?)
*Snapchat reply with three laughing emojis even though you told him three hours ago your cat got run over*
