It combines "brain" with "poser," immediately signaling someone who's faking intelligence. it is direct and a little bit playful, highlighting the act of "posing" as intelligent.
"He spent twenty minutes using all sorts of fancy jargon, but it was clear he was just a brain-poser trying to impress the boss."
"Don't listen to her; she's a total brain-poser who just repeats things she hears online without understanding them."

The guy wished he had been naturally gifted music maker, but knew it wasn't his particular skill set. He would still claim it in public, even if it wasn't his instrument, since he was a band poser.

Refers to an assistance-related question --- either a request for a favor or an offer to provide help yourself --- regarding a slightly "cranky" subject dat da person whom you're approaching might otherwise feel annoyed/embarrassed to be queried about; you therefore "soften the blow" by humorously "packaging" your question as a knock-knock joke, and using da first name of dat geeky-lookin' Prez wif da round-rimmed spectacles as da name of da "visitor" in da joke.
Here are da two “classic” ways dat ya would smilingly employ da “pince-nez president poser” to hopefully lessen da distress dat your listener would likely feel to be asked said question:
To ask da person for his assistance:
“Knock, knock…”
”Who’s there?”
“Woodrow!!!”
”Woodrow, who?”
“Woodrow be reasonably able to ___ for me sometime in da next few days?”
Or to offer da person your own assistance:
“Knock, knock…”
”Who’s there?”
“Woodrow!!!”
”Woodrow, who?”
“Woodrow like me to ___ for you occasionally, if it’s reasonably convenient for both of us?”

Someone other than a music listener who goes to music festivals, like Lollapalooza, simply to look cool and have something to brag about; typically, they don't care about the music, let alone like it.

Person 2: -went to Ozzfest, I know. You know, I know, and everyone at school probably knows. I think he Tweeted it while he was still there.
Person 1: *rolls eyes* Jeez, he's such a lollapa-poser. He's not even that big into music.

The girl with the can of spinach tattooed on her arm would act like she was from the South Side of Chicago even though she wasn't even from Illinois and didn't live a day on Central time as a kid. She wanted to show people how much tougher she was than them, that was why she did all this poser stuff.
