The Lakers of the early 80's were known as Showtime! with Magic Johnson and Phat 5 legend Kareem Abdul Jabbar ( UCLA ). Jabbar won 6 NBA Championships ( 5 ) L.A. Lakers, and ( 1 ) Milwaukee Bucks. Now that's Dunkadelic!!!!!

A sport first invented in Springfield, MA in 1891 by Dr. JAmes Naismith. He wanted a game that would keep his gym students phsically ctvie indoors during the winter. The early games were played with soccer balls that had to be shit into peach baskets. It is a sport inwhich both men AND women can compete. There all are levels of playing. The Basketball Hall of Fame is located in Springfield, MA in tribute to where it all started. Most games are played with ten foot hoops. There are two teams, The object of the game is to have your team score more points(get the ball through the basket) than the other team. Both teams play offence and defence.

Lets go play basketball, your team can be on offence first.
