Bae stands for “Billie and Emily”, the bestest friends ever. Their friendship is an undying platonic love and mutual admiration society. This friendship is so strong that a term stronger than “BFF” is necessary. Bae finishes each other’s sentences. They will be roommates in the nursing home together someday, but for now they’re living their best life.
