When a guy or girl and yourself have a genuine connection but they ignore that and listen to internal (insecurity/ego) or external (random losers who have nothing to do with the connection between you and that person) influences, or taking the connection for granted and disrespect the connection beyond repair. They usually live to regret that action for the rest of their lives, having assumed they would easily find a connection like that with someone else and never finding it ever again, usually dooming themselves to a lifetime of dissatisfaction.
