n. the result of turning an in-ground swimming pool into a pond by simply letting it go, planting water plants and adding fish. NOT by popping out the concrete pool and using all sorts of heavy machinery.

v. the act of turning an in-ground swimming pool into a pond over time by adding water plants for filtration and fish for bio-balancing.

I've just pool2ponded and I'm thinking of getting some snails.
