Room Text

A text received from someone in the same "room", or location as the other. This includes at meetings, a sporting event, on a train, at a bar, etc.

I was reprimanded by my boss today for sending a room text to a co-worker during a staff meeting.

Wannabe text

Similar to intellext, these are the grammatically correct texts usually seen in movies or shows that try to appeal to a pre-teen audience.

Example: Do u want 2 hangout 2morrow @ the mall ;) ?

iCarly and Beastly are wannabe texters.

Stealth Text

A text sent to someone in the same general area as you, usually to tell or ask them something you can't say out loud.

Guy 1: How was the party last night?
Guy 2: It ended up being so lame since only ten people showed up. I had to stealth text my friend across the room to plan an escape.

Kami-text

verb (esp. of an Asian person)
to walk directly towards another person due to distraction while texting.

I was walking around town this morning and two Asian guys kami-texted on me.

The act of recording one's fart on a smart phone via the record audio icon in the text field, then texting it to an individual or a group for playback.

The act of texting a person you find sexually attractive six times in a row without getting a text back..generally resulting in you looking lonely, desperate, crazy, or all of the above.
