Gontomu is a state of mind and an experience. It's describes the act of having fun even if the individue is doing something considered cringe or awkward.

People living in the Gontomu mindset tend to be seen as "cringe" however they are just trying to find their identities and have a life worth living. They try not to care about others' opinions. It's normally hard for them.
