Bandwagon Fan

A person from Random Town, USA thousands of miles away that just happens to be a "fan" of historically successful and popular teams. This person has no ties to the city or state the team calls home and never will have any experience with real fans of the team at local events, home games, etc.
The local real fans from the area of the team dont even take these people serious, so they're "fans" of a team whose real fanbase doesnt even acknowledge them and considers them a joke.

I live in Willacoochee, Georgia. I've barely even been outside of my state before, but I'm a bandwagon fan of teams like the Cowboys/Packers/Steelers/Patriots/Yankees/Golden State/Cavs because they are popular.

commonly used for people who do not have any respect for their idol’s privacy and would go any lengths to prove their idol’s whereabouts and their own point right even if it means leaking their idol’s address even when you know they have faced something traumatic a few months back.

Harry Styles fan leaked his address in La, they are fake fans.

A person that actively endorses all or the majority of communism, usually used for the Chinese Communist Party. Refers to the sickle usually depicted in communist flags

Mary: China is building a lot of apartments, they are booming and progressing.
Joe: you know a lot of them are empty, just for show.
