peckadillo

Da "social no-so" act of planting quick casual kisses on da cheeks of random people. You might get away with it more in the Italian Quarter, though, since this is the traditional "modern Latin" way of greeting each other.

Though considered relatively minor in the eyes of Johnny Law, committing a peckadillo still carries a stiffer penalty than an "armadillo", since passing out uninhibited smooches is considered more violating of personal-boundaries than simply hugging everyone you meet.
