A state of mind where only feelings are important and facts are irrelevant. Ironically used as a manipulation tactic like Political Correctness to manipulate those who disagree as being asleep to the “facts” there by discouraging the use of any critical skills or expression of opposing viewpoints.
1) There are only two genders.
Dude you are just not Woke.
2) There are dozens of non binary genders.
Dude that is so Woke!

A deliberately ill-defined term functioning as a catch-all grievance basket that individuals who lean to the political right use to vaguely describe the perceived ills of society. Often used as a slur to disparage their ideological opponents, and frames being intolerant of things like intolerance, as equivalent to objectively offensive intolerant behaviour.
Person 1: Late stage capitalism has exacerbated economic inequality to historic levels.
Person 2: Whatever you say “woke mob leftist”.

1. A form of moral panic provoked by fear of the rise, supposed or real, of left-wing ideologies in a society during the early 21-st century.
Similar to the Red Scare or McCarthyism (aka Second Red Scare) before it, Woke Worry seeks political repression and persecution of left-wing individuals and concepts by invoking fear and condemnation of all things deemed to be “woke”.
2. A sarcastic term to describe current right-wing political discourse around “woke ideology” and their fear of all things woke. Similar to the Red Scare or Satanic Panic of earlier generations.

My grandma told me about living through the Red Scare and McCarthyism. My mother told me about living through the Satanic Panic of the 1980’s and 90’s. I’ll tell my children and grand children about the “Woke Worry” happening today.

A term now embraced by middle-class white US citizens as a new buzz word to indicate participation into the conservative right-wing faction to subtly endorse racism in the 2020's. These are mostly MAGA/Trump uneducated voters or at best posses diplomas they were able to purchase from various sources of higher education like their fearless leader's dad who bought sonny boy a Wharton School sheepskin.
This replaces the buzz words of the last decade such as "triggered". For the most part these individuals don't posses the intellect to process the true meaning of these terms. It doesn't really matter, the mere use of these terms serves their purposes as a member of the aforementioned group. Here's a group who holds people like Alex Jones as their prophet.
