The cheap cell phones made by Nokia that are generally given out free upon signing for a plan. They have excellent reception but are ugly and large.

Piss Brick

Used with malicious intent or as a hilarious practical joke, a piss brick is a frozen sheet of urine most often prepared in a shallow pan. The brick is then slid under the door of the victim's residence. In the most glorious of outcomes, the urine is absorbed by carpet and establishes its long-lasting odor.

"Should we call the police on your noisy neighbors?"

"No. We'll deliver a piss brick to send the message."

The big and bulky phones that were produced by Nokia from the 1990s up to the smartphone era, such as the legendary Nokia 3310. Nokia is known for producing smartphones that are very durable, but the Nokia Bricks trump them in every way. Move out of the way iPhones, with your pathetically weak screens! The Nokia Bricks are in town to prove that the Earth will crack apart before their screens do!

Kid: Dad, I dropped my iPhone and now it's got a broken screen!
Dad: You should have swapped your iPhone for a Nokia Brick.

The Millwall brick was discovered when police began to wonder why so many Millwall supporters were carrying copies of the broadsheet Times Newspaper.

Correctly folded it could be converted into a weapon that could punch a hole in a dry lining plasterboard wall.

black brick

Any of the several models of the ThinkPad laptop computer, manufactured first by IBM and later by Lenovo. So called because of its black color and simple rectilinear appearance. Regarded as efficient, reliable, sturdy for a laptop, and relatively economical. Ubiquitous in business.

My old Dell died, so I bought a basic black brick, a slightly used IBM T-41, and I'm happy with it. It's not hi-res, I wouldn't use it for anything fancy, like online gaming. But it works well with WiFi, it gets my work done quickly and smoothly with very little trouble, and it only cost me $500.
