The latest Marvel movie is an exercise in woke morality. Storylines, genders and races have been chosen, not with respect to storytelling, quality or need, but to fit a presentation and approach that conforms to the dictates of critical race and intersectional theory.

Most recently used negatively as a slight or insult toward more liberal individuals advocating against systematic oppression in its many forms. Although, in the earlier 2000s up until recently (2020) it was used in a positive light when referring to someone who is aware of or believes in a controversial truth or conspiracy theory.
