House Flick

The modern day version of a drive-in movie. It is growing in popularity with the current economic climate.

Neighbors gather outside someone's home at sundown and project a movie on the exterior of the house. Everyone brings their own lawn chair, snacks and refreshments.
It creates a sense of community and saves big money.

Hey let's go to Donna's tonight, she's doing a house flick.

Let's do a double House Flick this weekend. First showing for kids and then let's show something for the adults.

Uncle's House

A trap house or bando hosted by a close relative or family friend with enough background knowledge to exploit the weaknesses of the clientele. Typically offers illicit narcotics and other related services (prostitution, gambling, etc.) Traditionally only runs a few days a month, mostly the days just after social security, disability, or stimulus checks are deposited.

Bob: Hey, man, I've been looking for you the past few days!
Alvin: You know my check came in and I was at Uncle's House.
Bob: Guess you don't have that money you owe me.

A younger kid or adult that hasn't spent a lot of time out on the street, at local/punk shows, or just living out of the house in general but says/acts like they have.

Steven is so shady, he is probably actually a house kid!

heroin house

Typically, an abandoned house that is frequently used by heroin and other hard drug addicts (often homeless) as a shelter to buy, sell, and use heroin, in addition to other nefarious activities.

It seems like the police raid the local heroin house every other week. I wish the city would just demolish it already.
