Downtown Buffalo

The economic center of Western New York. For many years downtown Buffalo was being run down by crime, and rust. But recently many new projects have been built/are being built/planned, such as the new waterfront, the statler towers being redeveloped, the Marriot Hotel downtown, the new federal courthouse, and the MANY abandoned buildings being turned into lofts/businesses. Buffalo is on the rise.
Rochesterian: Wow, our downtown is better because we have 2 waterfalls, and like 3 highrise buildings!

Buffalonian: Have fun with your panhandlers! We have over 50 high rises, a waterfront in development and many other projects being done! Downtown Buffalo rocks!

Dusty Buffalo

Refers to an elderly Native American woman who has not engaged in sexual intercourse in a period of time. Refers to how the genitalia has not been aroused and has gathered dust.
Person 1: I went to the reservation last week to waste my paycheck at the slots, and this dusty buffalo cleared me out in Texas Hold 'em!

Person 2: I can see why she hasn't gotten any action...
