The worst thing to happen to TV. The ONLY good thing about "MTV" was the old Headbanger's Ball hosted by the man, Riki Rachtman. Nowadays, everyone from stupid elementary kids to middle schoolers, esp. HS'ers and college kids watch this stupid channel and continue to embrace it. It chafes my balls that people love the stupid shit they spew to everyone. They don't even show music anymore, it's all really stupid shows. Teaching hot girls to be prude, to dress like little whores, who are cock-tease, stuck up bitches. Teaches people to be either: emo fags, wiggers or pretty boys.

Circa 1990 Nirvana is discovered and they play a metric assload of grunge. Then they realise "oh shit! there's more black people now, we better cater to the next big thing." and play nothing but rap. Then out of Mtv spawned Mtv2 made specificly for rock, since Mtv is all reality shows and rap now, but in time that turned to all rap and reality as well. So out of that came the fuse, and it followed the same path as the other two.

Get the Mtv mug.A funnier, and a better channel than Much Music. Mtv Canada have funny veejays and a great live show. It is basically like the american mtv with all its shows (Date My Mom, Made, The Hills etc), but it doesnt not play any music.
