He's a great guy, but sometimes you have to overlook all that cluelessness. He's a real nerd, up there in Asperger's territory.

a term heavily used in the Aerospace Engineering field describing one who is extremely accomplished technologically and/or scientifically. As a result this person is almost entirely inept in social situations.

I thought it was extremely nerdatronic of him to give me a model airplane on our anniversary.
