Whoopton-Upon-Thames

A lovely little town on the River Thames, in between Kingston and Chertsey. Frequented by patrons of a comedy club in the Royal Borough of Greenwich, at the recommendation of comedian John Robins as he introduces the last acts of the night during the Sunday Special. It is common practice to make copious amounts of "whooping", as one might expect, upon arrival in the area of Whoopton. Those who can only master clapping and cheering are not granted passage to this charming riverside town in Surrey.
"So, team, we've master the clapping, we've got the cheering down. I think now it's time for us to take a trip to a lovely little place I call... 'Whoopton-upon-Thames'" - John Robins
