A surname originating in the late 1500s in Ireland during the potato famine. The family bloodline nearly died out, but were saved by their supple wrists and ability to swindle normal wristed folk.

drum minor

In larger Marching bands. This person is generally not as good as the drum major, but able to hold a leadership position. Getting this positon generally takes some sucking up to the director. Also, the Drum major(s) get all of the credit and pleasent jobs, but the drum minor gets less glorious jobs (attendance, warm ups, etc.)

Drum Major: Hey, get over here and warm the band up! :Hands over a spit encrusted whistle:
Drum Minor: Really? Great! :gratefully accepts the spit encrusted whistle and gets up in front of band to run them through warm ups"

Rachel wasn't as good as the drum majors, so the band director made her drum minor instead.

Super Minority

A person belonging to multiple minority groups. i.e. A gay, black female.

When a specific racial or ethnic group is chosen to represent all minorities to the exclusion of all other minority groups.

The movie used one type of people as the standard minority, so it felt disingenuous.

Ursa Minor

Ursa Minor is one of the 88 International Astronomical Union constellations located in the night sky, it has a twin named Ursa Major, another IAU Constellation. Ursa Minor is known to be famous due to it's north star called Polaris, which it's nickname is the north star. Ursa Minor is bordered by Draco to the South, Camelopardalis to the East, and Cepheus to the west.

the best musical key ever and nobody can tell me otherwise
-allows you to go into optimal bass frequency range
-decent number of sharp notes without being excessive
-sounds extremely pleasant in any chord progression. not joking. you can stick an f sharp minor chord anywhere and it will fit like a puzzle piece

guy 1: this beat that some guy posted is in f sharp minor. it slaps so hard
guy 2: nah you should check this other beat. its in c minor
