Lapis lazuli is a semi-precious stone that is known for its intense blue color.
Many uses of it are:

-jewelry
-carvings
-boxes
-mosaics
-ornaments
-vases and much more.
It is best found in Kokcha river valley of Badakhshan in Afghanistan
