Ghosted
a term used to describe when someone they have been communicating with abruptly stops all communications. This includes phone calls, text messages, emails, fax, video, zoom, carrier pigeon, western union, snap chat, and dm's.
These actions are usually preceded by many a broken promises to "hang out", "have a drink or two", "come over' or "catch up" on the part of the Ghoster. Also, most likely, pertinent details such as location, address, unit number, phone number, people in attendance, starting time, ending time, and probable prior invites to other locales are almost always conveniently left out of the initial invite.
The Ghostee is left wondering whether the person that was just texting them seconds, minutes. or hours ago is now alive or dead. Neither can be definitively proven just like the existence of ghosts.

Person 1 @ 10:03: (checks phone and calls Mark)
Person 1 @ 10:08 (checks phone and sends hello text)
Person 1 @ 10:15 (checks phone)
Person 1 and rest of group come to the realization that Mark ghosted them.
Person 2 @ 10pm: Which hotel?
