shake awake

A sudden, violent awakening that occurs when one realizes that he or she has dozed off in public; usually, the venue is a lecture hall. The awakening is rarely soft and is frequently punctuated by a strong shake, wherein the victim will spasm limbs and then pretend as though he or she had been awake the entire time. For a few seconds afterward, the victim will have a hard time thinking clearly and will usually curse the recent violent awakening.

I fell asleep during Microelectronics. In my sleep, I remembered that my binder was precariously balanced on the edge of my desk and the one adjacent. I had the biggest shake awake ever when, in a torrent of irrational dream-thought, I determined that I had to save it from falling, even though there was no chance of that happening.

Awake

Someone who is unchained from the beliefs and dogmas they were raised with. An awakened person can see past the cultural brainwashing and programing that plays out in their particular culture. I.e. In North Korea Kim Jeong-eun is a political God, the savior of the people. In America everyone must support the troops or receive harsh criticism. These are just two examples of how the opinions of the masses are largely formed by the will of the few through our media, entertainment and educational system. Someone who is awake has broken free of this dangerous one dimensional thinking.

She is now awake; however, it took years to get there through independent research and critical thinking.

Asarela

Asarela is a very nice friend. She is friendly and kind hearted. She compliments everyone she knows, and asked if you’re okay. She very crazy around her friends. She looks happy on the outside but she’s broken on the inside. Once you get close to her she’s very open, but when you meet her she’s distant. She’s also a a VERY clumsy girl. She frequently cries for no reason at all, so don’t talk about sensitive topics because she is very soft

Nobody Asked

An insult, meaning they don't want to hear what you have to say. Normally told at school in one of these two circumstances--1)They asked you the question and you answered it honestly 2)You give your opinion on the same topic when they were talking to you

This is normally a sign of bullying or harassment, but some people mistake it for "kids being kids". If the same person says "Nobody Asked" to you more than once, you should stop talking to them as they are trying to get under your skin.

Person 1: What's your favorite Star Wars movie or TV Show?
Person 2: I like The Mandalorian, it was a great Star Wars show!
Person 1: THE MANDALORIAN IS TRASH, NOBODY ASKED!
Person 2: But, you literally asked...
Person 1: DOES IT LOOK LIKE I CARE?!
